I was talking to my mother about an hour today, a day after Malaysia was attacked by a minor earthquake due to the great one in Indonesia. May everything is doing fine. After seven days in Turkey, I am back to routine. Alhamdulillah, Turkey is a must visit country i bet. Every moment hold a very special place in our heart. The weather has treated us well. Cuma in last two days, it was raining through the day, the cold was quite chilly, it was the day we visitted Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih mausoleum and the Bosphorus Tour. I'm trying to put everything here but don't think i can make it.
Back view of Aya Sofia
Aya Sofia, my dream place-now-fulfilled. Thank you Allah for the great chance. What is so special about Aya Sofia? It is a former mosque, turned into a museum, you can guess who did the transformation. A step back during the khilafah, Sultan Muhammad Al-Fateh first came into the St Sophies Church, took the sand, spread onto his forehead, and later perform his sujud there. Allahuakbar. Hope everyone shall get the sense of achievement here.
Inside: from the upper floor.
We could see the name of all four khalifahs up there, Abu Bakar, Umar, Uthman, Ali including Hassan and Hussain. It is a big mosque with very moderate embroideries i would say. It might not be the most beautiful mosque in the world but it hold a very deep and meaningful historical glance. There were mixture of art and handicraft from both religions, Christianity and Islam inside it. Subhanallah.
I wish somebody will bring back the hey-day. aamin.
It wass 1.15am when i wrote the last para, while subuh will be on 3. I shall stop making my finger talking here and do other job. InsyaAllah, tomorrow will be a visit in Southampton, my second home. Hope there will be a nice sharing there. I wish to share more here but i cannot promise i would. See me in halaqah! hihi~
Turkey, what a pleasant moment we have. May Allah protect it from any harm and turn it into a better place. a place it used to be during the khilafah.
aamin :)
