Walk in Humility

.:: In the name of Allah, the most Gracious the most Merciful ::.

My Roomie is doing her research questionnaire when I'm doing something else, trying to give some ideas to her questionnaires design while I'm destroying all the videos we made last night. Sob. Sob. Online video converter that i chose to convert all those vids doesn't help. So, i choose to stop. Grr..

Ha! One of my besties has shared one video in the group, 'Qualities of a true worshiper', a worth listening to. How to walk in humility? According to Wiki, 'Humility' comes from the word 'Humble', in many sense it is the quality of being modest and respectful. When someone remind us about a good thing, address them properly. A true believer will listen and the winner is when they listen, it affects them positively.

"When they are reminded of their Rabb (what is right), they do not turn a deaf ear and blind eye toward the reminder"

 In working to be a true worshiper, do walk with respect to ourselves which is walking in humility. "We must not be the ignorant". Don't drag ourselves into something that we'll not able to come out from. Why we shouldn't talk to the 'Jahilun' instead of giving 'Peace' [Salam]? Be careful of whom you allow into the circle of friendship because when we started to talk and dissolve in them, we started to THINK like them.

"And the servants of (Allah) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, when the ignorant address them, they say 'Peace' and they walk away"
[25:63]

I'm quite surprise to know this, how Islam is quite firm in protecting us from any harm and misguidance. Few more commentaries from the web site:

Ignorant: in a spiritual sense.
Address : in the aggressive sense.
Their humility is shown in two ways:

(1) To those in real search of knowledge, they give such knowledge as they have and as the recipients can assimilate;

(2) To those who merely dispute, they do not speak harshly, but say "Peace!", as much as to say, "May it be well with you, may you repent and be better"; or "May Allah give me peace from such wrangling"; or "Peace, and Good-bye: let me leave you!".

Enjoy more :

Peace and goodbye!
